Dr. Sharleen Andrews, LMSW
Dr. Sharleen Andrews is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), and has a Doctorate degree in Human Services with a specialty in Clinical Social Work with Women. She is a native of Hawaii and is of Puerto Rican decent. Ms. Andrews is the founder of Living Water International, Inc., a Christian service organization ministering to the needs of the poor - in and outside of the United States, as well as, establishing training and networking opportunities for lay-ministers.
In addition to her work as a Social Worker and Chaplain of hospice patients, Ms. Andrews has extensive experience in providing intervention and advocacy services for culturally diverse populations. She supervises social work field training for interns in counseling and social work at the Graduate and Doctorate levels. Dr. Andrews has a passion for working and ministering to the Lencas Indigenous Indian women and children of Central America.
Dr. Andrews is an experienced avid leader for change and innovation. For more than 4 years she was the president of the National Organization for the Advancement of Hispanics (NOAH) in Northern Virginia. NOAH's purpose is to assist and integrate Hispanics into their communities.
